DEVELOPING DISCIPLINE & LIFE SKILLS THROUGH TRADTIONAL MARTIAL ARTS
At Lionheart, young students earn status through grit, respect for their teammates, and persistent physical development. Our kids programme is designed to build a genuine mental resilience against distraction and low confidence.
Our training operates on three foundations: respectful hierarchy, precise coordination, and the joy of honest physical achievement. Under the direct care of experienced coaches, children learn the full art of eight limbs in forms adapted for healthy joint growth and safe interaction.

Common Inquiries.
What is Muay Thai?
Muay Thai is a traditional Thai martial art known as “The Art of Eight Limbs” because it utilizes punches, kicks, elbows, and knee strikes.
What age is appropriate for starting Muay Thai?
Our gym offers classes for children starting at 5 years old. Classes are tailored to different age groups and skill levels.
Is Muay Thai safe for kids?
Muay Thai classes for children are designed with safety in mind. Coaches focus on functional movement, active play, coordination, strength, fitness, martial techniques, discipline, and respect, all while minimizing the risk of injury. After a few sessions, it’s recommended to buy your child their own club shorts and top.
What should my child wear to class?
Kids should wear comfortable athletic clothing, such as shorts or leggings and a T-shirt or vest. We provide spare boxing gloves and shin guards, but in the future, it’s a good idea to invest in your own hand wraps, boxing gloves, and shin guards.
Will my child be sparring right away?
Sparring is introduced gradually. Most classes start with fundamental techniques, strength, and fitness, with sparring becoming part of the curriculum as students advance.
What can my child expect to learn in Muay Thai classes?
Children will learn basic Muay Thai techniques, improve their fitness, develop coordination and discipline, and gain confidence.
How do you handle discipline and behaviour in class?
Our instructors use positive reinforcement and structured routines to teach discipline and respect. Clear rules and expectations are set from the beginning.
How often should my child attend classes?
We currently offer 1 class per week and will provide more as the club grows.
